Rose was born on March 2, 1959 in Kansas City, MO to Jo- seph and Henrietta (Bernal) Calderon. She attended Our Lady of Guadalupe School and graduated from Lillis High School in KCMO. She was em- ployed for 12 years with Com- merce Bank and 30 years with Citibank. She loved music, scrapbooking, writing, and used to love to dance.

Her proudest family moments were her beau- tiful fairy tale wedding, becom- ing a proud mother and grand- mother. I never knew how much love one soul could love." She was always ready to help other people who had cancer. She would reach out to them, so they knew they had someone who understood what they were going through and help ease their fears. She would write let- ters and cards and also talk to them on the phone. She had been battling cancer since 2012 and has faced death on several occasions but never lost her Faith.

Rose was loved by everyone she ever met. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Michael A. Alvarado, who became her spouse on October 10, 1981; her children, Jacquelyn Alvarado Daniels (Joe), Michelle A. Alvarado (Anthony Boykin), John M.

Aloysius grade school and high school. In 1948, she attended Webster College in St. Louis, MO. She later met her husband, Paul A. DiGiovanni.

They were married on September 7, 1949 and raised four wonderful children together. After her kids were raised, she became a real estate agent for J.C. Nichols. She received many awards for her outstanding sales performance in the indus- try. Clarinne had a love for play- ing cards with her girlfriends, trips to the Lake, and bowling in a league.

Later on, she found a new hobby in jewel- ry making. She loved her family immensely and treasured time spent with them. She looked forward to gathering for Sunday meals and special occasions with her extended family. Clarinne is survived by her sis- ter, Josephine Badale; her four children and their spouses, Mark DiGiovanni (Marjorie), Dennis DiGiovanni (Nancy), Janine Mirabile (Leonard), Paula Brown (Tracy); seven grandchil- dren, Joseph DiGiovanni, Jasper Mirabile III, Rachel Bagby, Chris- tina Knopke, Cara Moore, Paul Brown, and Trey Brown, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her pa- rents, the Honorable Frank Benanti and Josephine; her hus- band, Paul A.

Condolences may be offered at www.passantinobros.com Jerry Dale Edison Jerry Dale Edison passed away on August 8, 2020 at his home in Blue Springs, Missouri at the age of 83. Jerry was born on April 28, 1937 to Howard and Hazel Edi- son in Newburg, Missouri. He at- tended school in Newburg, Mis- souri and later earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the Uni- versity of Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy-Rolla. While attending college, he got the opportunity to learn to fly airplanes. He joined the United States Army and continued to fly a variety of planes in the United States and Germany.

He was later called to serve in the Vietnam War. He served in the Army for over seven years and later served in the United States Army Reserve for fourteen years. He retired with the rank of Major. He was also a member of American Legion Post in Blue Springs, Missouri. Jerry flew with TWA for 31 years both in the United States and overseas.

Jerry was a quiet man, but if you mentioned air- planes, his eyes would light up and he was ready to talk for hours. He loved to play golf, watch sports, read and to be with his family, especially if a good meal was involved. Jerry was a member of First Baptist Church of Blue Springs. He was active in several groups in the church and enjoyed many different activities and study sessions. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; grandsons, Brandon Gourley and Austin Kincaid; sib- lings, Donald Edison, Fern Nel- son, Norma Jean Edison, Audrey Alexander, Wilda Elting and Rita Kohlstadt.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Linda, of the home at Cedarhurst Assist- ed Living; daughters, Donna Edi- son of Knoxville, Missouri and Dr. Karen Edison (Dr. David Fleming) of Columbia, Missouri; grandson, Dustin Kincade of Phoenix, Arizona; brother-in-law, Dan Blackwell (Nancy) of Summit, Missouri and Keith Blackwell (Minnie) of Dallas, Texas. Hallauer Donald Howard Hallauer, 89, of Cole Camp, passed away Mon- day, August 10, 2020, at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retire- ment Home, Sedalia. He was born on November 24, 1930, in Kansas City, Missouri, a son of John Joseph and Katherine Rose (Walz) Hallauer. While growing up in Independ- ence, one of his favorite pas- times was to catch the bus to go to the Saturday matinee.

In 1948, he graduated from Man- ual High School. On November 19, 1951, he was united in marriage to N. Jean Stockwell and this union was blessed with the gift of three sons, Donald Michael, Da- vid Leroy, and Dennis Mark. Don served his country honora- bly in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a motorcycle patrol of- ficer and dispatcher for the Kan- sas City Police Department, re- tiring after 25 years of service.

During his time as an officer, he was a member of the KCPD softball team and met John F. Kennedy at a presidential rally while doing a motorcycle escort for him in Kansas City. After his retirement, he worked for the U. S. Marshall Service and Wells Fargo.

He was united in mar- riage to Charmane Berta Ortiga in September of 1982 and they moved to Ivy Bend in 1984 to get away from the city. She pre- ceded him in death on January 28, 1998. On September 2, 2000, in Ver- sailles, he was united in mar- riage to Katherine Anne Knickerbocker. In 2005, they moved to Cole Camp and be- came members of St. Lu- theran Church.

He was a member of the VFW and American Legion Post. Don enjoyed playing golf, rid- ing motorcycles, and loved the Kansas City Chiefs. He is survived by his wife, Ka- therine Hallauer of the home; two sons, Michael Hallauer of Houston Lake and David Hallauer and his wife Sandra of Kansas City, and; twelve grand- children, Crystal Basdeo, Ben Hallauer, Nick Hallauer, Nathan Hallauer, Angel Hallauer, Chris Hallauer, Denise Hallauer, Mi- chelle Thomas, Trenton Hallauer, Andy Stone, Amy Diaz- Cruz, and Adam Stone; twenty- one great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Katherine Hallauer, a son, Dennis Mark Hallauer, two sisters, Doris Musick and Mildred Statham, two brothers, Joe Hallauer and Robert "Bob" Hallauer. Scott Jenkins It is with sadness that the fami- ly of T. Scott Jenkins announces his passing on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020. After emergency surgery, he passed away from resulting complications. He joins his father, Jim Jenkins, who predeceased him on De- cember 30th, 2019. He is sur- vived by his mother, Jenanne Jenkins; his children, Lauren, Noah, Aaron, Adam, Jennifer, his wife Mary Alice Jenkins, and her children Alana and Ren.

He graduated from Rockhurst prep and earned his BS from the Uni- versity of Arizona. He founded many businesses throughout his career. He was named entrepre- neur of the year in 1996 by the Kauffman Foundation. Scott was a CIO for Union Gos- pel Mission in Victoria, BC where he resided. He was also a director for the James Dobson Family Institute.

Terry was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her love will continue to radiate through her family and friends.
