Haysville Parson, James C. 66, retired Boeing Wichita and Cessna Aircraft Co. welder, died Friday, April 5, 2002. Service 2 p.m. Monday, Wichita Park Cemetery.

Mr. Parson was born in Columbus, Miss. In addition to his work at Boeing and Cessna, he also worked with the Boilermakers and was an employee of Vets Cab Co. Since he was 19 years old, he was driving the night and his youngest daughter, Jody, was born in a cab. Jim and his wife, Lois, were married in Searcy, Ark.

on Oct. 14, 1953. They would have celebrated their 49th Anniversary this October. They were Haysville residents since 1965, buying a house on Lois' birthday. He was a companion, friend, neighbor, advisor and was always there to give a hand to all who knew him.

He will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by a three year old son, Jeffery in 1964; parents, Gary and Ellen Parson; brothers, Howard, Clyde; sisters, Mevelene, Jackie.
